About ME
Let's see...I'm a mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend, dog lover, supply chain analyst, and (last but not least) aspiring author. My passion for reading and writing led me to major in English at The Ohio State University, and I was fortunate enough to study Shakespeare abroad in Bath, England for a semester.
Like most writers, I love the written word and am truly inspired by people who have the courage to put pen to paper and trust the world with their thoughts, ideas, feelings, experiences, and stories.
About my novel
What I've put to paper...
Here is a blurb for the novel I'm working on getting published titled ALTERED:
Days after her father's death, twenty-three-year-old Chole Burke witnesses a horrifying car accident with two conflicting outcomes: one where a young woman, Jessica Loren, is killed and another where the young woman drives on unscathed. Shaken, Chloe describes what she saw to her twin brother. He tells her she has discovered a portal to another dimension, one where Jessica is most likely still alive. Their late father had possessed the same ability and had provided his son with the finances to build a device that allows passage to these alternate realms. Chloe’s brother convinces her they should use the device to confirm it works. Chloe agrees to go, for no other reason than to prove she hasn’t lost her mind. When the twins use the device, they quickly realize the consequence of their decision threatens to fray the very fabric of our existence.
And here's my one sentence pitch: When cross-dimensional travel becomes reality for trust fund baby Chloe Burke, she must fight against temptation to stay in a dimension where her father is still alive and leave before the world is destroyed by an enormous, lethal storm.
